Scott Davis, senior vice president and chief sales and marketing officer of Western Digital, said in the document that the price adjustment was based on the unprecedented market demand for the entire line of mechanical hard drives , with the aim of supporting business growth, maintaining quality, and continuing to provide customers with lower TCO.
In addition, Western Digital will increase the proportion of sea transportation in product logistics , which may extend the product transportation cycle by 6 to 10 weeks. Users need to reserve sufficient time when placing orders.
